I have always loved and had a passion for fast cars. Over the years I have owned a huge array of cars and some of which I wish I never sold due to the appreciation in prices.
I purchased my first Porsche in 2017 and as a result joined a few groups which was great to connect, network and share stories. I also noted that there were quite a few Sikh owners and that's where the idea for a dedicated Sikh Porsche Owners Club was born.
So, in 2018 I created a Facebook page called ‘Sikh Porsche Owners Club’ and started to poach and message fellow Sikhs to join the club. Over the period of 2 years the group gained traction and grew to 70 members, but then we were hit with the COVID pandemic and that put a halt to car meets and new members joining.
I then had a thought of opening the club up to anyone who owns a sports car, but this time not limiting the scope to Porsche owners.
So, at the start of 2021 the club name was changed to ‘Sikh Sports Car Club UK’ (SSCCUK) and the traction it has gained has surpassed my expectation. I did know that it would gain traction, but not so quickly and its evident that such a club was needed to unite the Sikh community whilst being inclusive of others.
Most of us have a passion for cars and its great to see so many successful brothers and sisters fulfilling their dreams.

Bop purchased his first Porsche in 2017 and joined several car clubs. Shortly after joining the Porsche Owner’s Club, he decided to create the Sikh Porsche Owner’s Club. In 2021, the club developed into the SIKH SPORTS CAR CLUB UK and SSCCUK was officially founded.
Bop was born and bred in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. Bop enjoys photography and snooker and of course CARS!!!.
Bop has previously owned what are now classics such as the Audi UR Quattro. He has owned virtually every model of BMW a BMW X6 and Porsche 911 (997) Carrera 4S and the most recent addition a Ferrari F430 F1 Spyder
